Kayli Richter

Kayli Richter is a multimedia artist with a background in figure sculpting and puppetry. Her work uses explores modern themes of technology and destruction through traditional atmospheres and worlds. Richter received her BFA in Studio Art with a minor in Art History from the University of Florida.

Experience

Research Assistant to Dr. Douglas Gabriel -April 2026- present

Researching and compiling Contemporary artists that pertain to the subject of Dr.Gabriel’s research article: the icon of the delivery driver in artworks concerning the gig economy.

University of Florida Woodshop Student Monitor -2025- 2026

Assisting students at the University of Florida on methods of making for their artistic projects. Organizing and helping better woodshop functionality. Effectively using tools in the shop and being able to assist students in doing so.

Harn Museum of Art MUSE - 2025

Coordinated museum events for the Harn Museum of Arts “Museum Nights”. Focus on inclusivity and teaching art and art history to a diverse audience.

Instructor at HOTCLAY Ceramics Club at the University of Florida - 2023-2024

Demonstrated and instructed sculpting techniques to students at the University of Florida. Demonstrations included building dolls and handbuilding vessels. Worked in partnership with Studio TM Ceramic studio to teach wheel throwing to UF students.

Private Exhibit at University of Florida 2025- Private exhibition of “While You Were Sleeping- A Collection of Works” displayed on UF campus.

University of Florida Student Juried Exhibition 2025- Mixed media work “While You Were Sleeping” was accepted into the selective University of Florida Gallery exhibition by juror and Chief Curator of the Orlando Museum of Art, Coralie Claeysen-Gleyzon.
